Seriously?

Fri Jul 24, 2009, 9:38 PM
I have been away for a year, from this place, so perhaps this is not quite good manners, or incorrect, forgive me if it is so.

I noticed on this fine night while trying to add small worthless piece that the "Submit Deviation" button was no longer on the main page where it was easily accessible, no problem it was still on the page of the logged in artist. A little inconvenient yes, but still manageable. Yet, it's sadly the options that have replaced it there and other changes that draw my ire. I could understand if it had be replaced with some tool to better art, instead it is for social networking and collecting. That combined with the need for a premium membership to ask for useful critique is odd for a site dedicated to the purpose of giving an artist a locale to display their art for the purpose of getting advise to improve, and possibly to allow other a medium to order pieces of art from the artist with little pain or difficulty. I am sad if this place has become about social networking not art.
